    Small-Group and Private Trip.

    What is a Small Group or Open Trip?

    Small-Group or Open Trip is a programmed scheduled trip with a fixed itinerary and price. You’ll share your trip with other people - A chance to be sociable, meet other travelers alike, and possibly have a new trip buddy for your future travels!

    What is a Private Trip?

    A Private Trip is a trip curated and designed according to your request, schedule, and budget - all up to you! We’ve catered companies, schools, organizations, friends, families. You can also combine your trip and event planning with us.

    Will the guide accompany me from Jakarta?

    1. Option 1: Yes upon request. You can have a trip buddy that will accompany you from Jakarta until the rest of the trip - note: This will require an extra charge for their plane ticket.

    2. Option 2: If not, no worries! We have our local team ready at each destination to accompany you as soon as you arrived - free of charge!

    Does The Yass Life Team only speak English and Bahasa?

    We speak Chinese and French too! You would not be lost in translation :)

    Will group sizes in Small-Group trip change?

    Our groups have always been small (up to 12 people), we want you to create connections between the travelers and offer you access to locations that larger groups can't, also to give you plenty of personal space.

    Will I need to share a room if I’m traveling on my own? What about camping trips?

    If you're traveling alone, you'll be assigned to a roommate who is of the same gender. If you want more private space, you can upgrade to your own room with extra charges.

  • How to book a trip?

    We are one call away! Contact us through WhatsApp, drop us a mail or DM for your inquiry and we will respond no lately than 2 hours.

    How is the payment terms? Any installment programs?

    To secure your spot, all trips require 50% down payment.

    We offer 2 payment methods:

    1. Monthly installment for the rest of the payment - Final payment due 10 days prior departure date

    2. Complete Final payment 5 days prior departure date

    Does all the price include airplane tickets?

    No for Open Trips.

    Yes, based on request for Private Trips.

    What if I bring my baby or kids?

    We’re sure it’ll be a fun addition to the group! And it comes with a special price as well:

    1. Baby – 24 months old or younger: Free of charge.

    2. Kids – 5 years old or younger 25% discount out of the total price.

      *Note: Extra bed may be charged.

  • Down Payment is non-refundable. Please ensure your travel dates are fixed.

    Cancellation 14 days prior or more = 100% refund from the 2nd payment

    Cancellation 7-14 days prior = 75% refund from the 2nd payment

    Cancellation 3 - 6 days prior = 30% refund from the 2nd payment

    Cancellation 48 hours prior = 20% refund from the 2nd payment

    Cancellation less than 48 hours prior = No refund from the 2nd payment

    Sailing Trip Cancellation Policy

    There will be no refund for cancellation, but the trip can be transferred to another person (substitute guest).

    If the cancellations / prohibitions are made by the harbourmaster or the government due to weather conditions, force majeure, natural disaster, terrorism, political instability, or other external events, means guests could reschedule the trip or receive a full refund.

    If the cancellations are made by the boat operator for other unavoidable reasons (such as technical issue), the boat operator will be responsible for arranging a replacement vessel as an alternative solution (with the same class / price range). If our team fail to provide a replacement, guests will receive a full refund.

  • Do I need to take a COVID-19 Test before travelling?

    All travelers who choose to travel with us must complete a COVID-19 Pre-Screening (PCR and Antigen) before joining the tour to ensure their ability to travel safely.

    Who is responsible for costs if I test positive for COVID-19 or need to quarantine while on tour?

    Please tell us as soon as possible if this occurs while you are on vacation, and we will provide as much appropriate assistance as possible. We will not be responsible for any tour cancellations, missed transportation arrangements, additional lodging, or other charges incurred by you. Travelers should make sure that their travel insurance covers these expenses.
